On our Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Excursion we take you to Punta Sur Park which marks the southern point of Cozumel, a 247-acre (1.00 km2) ecological park that covers the reefs, beaches, lagoons, and low forest of the surrounding area away from any inhabited area
The roads are perfect for our jeeps excursions, at the first stop there is a small mayan ruin here. This area use to be a mecca for mayan women from the mainland who made the pilgrimage to the island by dugout canoe - and this ruin was used as a lighthouse to signal those arriving from the mainland and let them know if the sea conditions were ok enough to cross. So cool!
it's just fascinating to see a "hurricane alarm" from the ancient times that used to work with conch shells and the power of the wind producing a whistle that would precede the arrival of a hurricane. We can also stop to see the lagoon and you'll get to visit an alligator refuge you may have the chance to see crocodiles on their nature that come closer, on a very safe way, to be part of the pictures of the visitors and take some great photos from the top of a couple of story wooden structure.
there is a viewing tower to see the mangrove, bird watching towers are available where we can see the lagoon and their residents, crocodiles, roseate spoonbills, various herons and egrets, and other birds.

Wow, this is definitely one place you must stop and see as part of the Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Excursion. Climb to the top of the lighthouse and take in the wonderful views!!!!! The outlook are incredible, the wildlife is neat and it presented some of the best photo opportunities for your family.
If heaven is real, it would look like this. This place is unspoiled and the drive up the coast to get there is truly spectacular!

we go to the beach. O M G.... It is just plain BEAUTIFUL!!!! The water is like 4 different shades of blue just up close. It fell amazing to go in the water. There are a lot of beach chairs and hammocks so you can rest there.
The beach is stunning, very secluded , felt like private beach with incredible soft sand and turquoise water. -- like something from a movie.
What a really outstanding jeep excursion
The quality of the sand is excellent, the water is not too deep and a great beach if you're not a good swimmer. A real highlight are the hammocks on the beach, bring a book.

You wont have to swim around in a school of people bumping into each other. Our private guides will take you out further to the better reefs, and provide you with a personalized snorkel experience and dive down to point out different sea creatures during your snorkel excursion. We even help guests who can not swim, and our guides wrap a lifeguard buoy around them and guide them to the reefs, by the way we provide all the snorkel gear
The beach it's a protected bay area which is beautiful and you have plenty of chances to find some really cool seashells, turtle hatching nest, white ponder sand etc.
